Programme (2018)

The Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights in cooperation with the European Women’s Lobby announce the EXIT Conference. In the framework of women’s human rights and gender equality, the objectives of the conference are:

  • to promote knowledge and debate on the most recent developments in public policies regarding the system of prostitution;
  • to contribute to a public policy aiming at the protection of women and the elimination of all forms of violence against women, and the suppression of sexual exploitation of women, particularly as it manifests itself in the system of prostitution;
  • voice the survivors of the system of prostitution, women’s organizations, youth organizations, pro-feminist men, local authorities, migrants’ organisations, and leading front-line NGOs supporting women in the system of prostitution.
