Studied Biology at the University of Aveiro and Animal Behavior in her master’s degree at the University of Porto. She later switched fields in view of the science situation in Portugal and specialized in Food Science and Biotechnology at Teesside University, with the aim of working towards a fairer and more sustainable food chain.
Although she pursued a scientific career, she devotes much of her free time to the humanities, working and studying issues related to feminism and politics.
After participating in one of the EXIT project’s training events, she has been mainly focused on the prostitution and pornography system.
