Lawyer, currently serving as Vice-President of the Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights (PpDM).
She was a delegate to the General Assembly of the European Women’s Lobby between June 2019 and June 2021. She founded and is General Coordinator of the PROJETO CRIAR ASSOCIATION (APC). She was a member of the Human Rights’ Commission of the Portuguese Bar Association (triennium 2014-2017) and Info-Point in the Council of Europe – HELP28 Program, representing the Bar Association. She was a consultant in the Lexis Project, training judicial operators in the area of domestic violence. She was coordinator of the project Dare to overcome violence in the family carried out by the Portuguese Association of Women Jurists. She was coordinator of the GIAC Project – Interdisciplinary Group of Child Support, and of the VITA Project, which aimed to intervene in the fight against gender violence and the promotion of specialized training. She coordinated the MIME Project – Support for Immigrant Children and Women and Ethnic Minorities.
She is currently coordinating the GIAC II Project and the MORE+ Program, sponsored by the Portuguese by the Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality. Winner of the Lopes Cardoso Prize awarded by the Portuguese Bar Association.
