Director of the Social Rights Department of the Lisbon City Council, where she was appointed Local Equality Advisor, having coordinated and collaborated in the design and implementation of several Municipal Plans: I and II Municipal Plans for Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic and Gender Violence; I Municipal Plan for Equality, and I LGBTI+ Municipal Plan. She was also involved in the design and implementation of the municipal structure specialized in responding to victims of domestic and gender violence.
She has a degree in Psychology and a post-graduate degree in conflict mediation. She is a certified trainer and promoter of personal and social skills, with vast experience in implementing local public policies and municipal plans and strategies in the fields of social and community intervention.
